Great post - something I've gotten quite familiar with in the last year - really appreciating those moments. Am actually just now in the middle of "La Bella Lingua" and I savor that book on the porch with wine in the spirit of dolce far niente indeed. I hope you don't mind, I quoted your book "Ah, signora, you are learning the Italian secret ... the art of living" (Enrico Paoletti) recently in a post - is one of my favorites that reflects this mentality, learning to let go ... and enjoy life.
