Hi!

It is really very important to have a "complete" day.

Not only work and obligations are important, it is essential to have some leisure time: to walk with people you like/love or simply alone. This time is as necessary as valuable.

I would also like to get your insights on some of the topics related to translation we deal with here:

La passeggiata is one of my favorite things about Italy. I loved seeing entire families, sometimes several generations at once, walking about, and the whole town would come alive.
Love the blog!
Ci vediamo!

What a fitting time for you to post on this topic of La Passeggiata, as I just participated in my second passeggiata in Rome. We strolled down Via Cola di Rienzo window shopping and talking of marriage. Discussing our thoughts on whether or not the religious beliefs of those getting married need to be the same or not. Coming to the conclusion that to avoid divorce or at least angst that it would be best if the pair were on the same page prior to their marriage.

Thanks for all your posts and your book, they keep me company as I live and study Italian in Rome.

our favourite passeggiata is in Forte dei Marmi. It is truly spectacular. Everyone is dressed beautifully and they wander up and down these lovely steeets arm in arm. It is so much fun to be part of it.

Regarding this beautiful post about "La passeggiata". We do also say ( in Rom expecially)
"It´s a walk"..that means it is very easy and doesn´t need a grat effort! Fort example if you have to substain an Exam..." ma dai, e`una passeggiata!"

I really like your blog! Grats to your work.

We always enjoy participating in la passeggiata in our little town, a very social time of day.
